The Story Lab isn't a craft activity — it's a structured writing program delivered by qualified literacy teachers. In just four days, your child learns how to build characters, develop a plot, craft their own voice, and edit their work. These are the exact skills that build stronger NAPLAN writing scores, better classroom essays, and a genuine love of self-expression. The skills go home with them long after the workshop ends.
Most holiday programs end with a take-home sheet. The Story Lab ends with a printed, published story with your child's name on the cover. That moment of holding something real they created themselves — something they worked hard for and can be proud of — builds a level of confidence no workbook can replicate. Every child leaves as a published author.
With a maximum of 8 children per group, every student gets real teacher attention, real feedback, and real encouragement. Whether your child has never written a story before or already fills notebooks at home, the Story Lab meets them where they are and challenges them at the right level. No child gets lost in the room.
